An optimisation program designed to optimise the performance of search engine services in Lahore was developed by the Lahore government and is aimed at improving the service quality in the city.
The program was announced on Tuesday by the government in a press conference in Lahori.
The government hopes the new program will lead to better quality search engine results and also boost traffic.
It is expected to be implemented by the end of 2019.
Lahore’s search engine has seen significant improvement in recent months.

A poll conducted in October by the agency revealed Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif with an “E” and a “C”.
The agency also revealed that she received an “A” in the online survey for her efforts in tackling the corruption plaguing the police.
The poll was conducted by Sushant Sahi, who is a social network blogger and blogger of the social media platform Twitter.
The Punjab Chief Ministers Office (PACO) released a statement on Wednesday congratulating the chief minister for her achievement in the poll.
The chief minister has received an ‘F’ rating in the survey, which is indicative of her achievements.
The PACO has also published a video congratulating Shahbazar Sharif on her election victory.
She is also the first woman to become Punjab Chief minister after the retirement of former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.
