Search engines have been forced to take a much-needed look at how to better promote the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 7.
The move comes after Apple unveiled its new operating system for the new phones on Tuesday, with the company also announcing that it would no longer be making hardware upgrades for the devices.
The news comes just one week after Google began to promote the iPhone 7 on the company’s mobile platform, the Google Play Store, as well as other social networks.
The company said in a statement that it was “working hard to make Google’s search experience better on all iPhone 6s and iPhone SE smartphones.”
Google has been touting the new iOS 8.0 and 8.1 operating systems as being more compatible with older phones.
It’s not yet clear if Google is working on an updated version for the iPhone X, but the company has previously said that it intends to do so.
